We mill this parting bead in-house especially for the restoration of older double-hung windows. Profile measures 11/32” x 3/4”. Thermally modified (TM) poplar is superheated to caramelize all the sugars in the wood. This gives the product a dark brown color all the way through and makes it resistant to water, decay, and insect damage. It is sustainable and locally sourced.
