In Part 1, you will learn about how to define your own expectations for the work you need and how to find, evaluate, and choose a contractor, with a particular focus on maintaining good communication. In Part 2, we will discuss written contracts, change orders, schedules, budget, and requirements such as licensing, permits, zoning, inspections, and insurance. There will be plenty of time for discussion. Participants must enroll in both Parts 1 and 2.
