  • Boston Building Resources 100 Terrace Street Boston, MA 02120 USA (map)

A router is a versatile woodworking tool used to shape and to produce finished edges. You can also use it to produce cutaways, holes, and contours. This class will cover the basics of the router, safety considerations, typical uses, and how different jigs and bits can be used in a wide variety of projects.

Mike Wenger is an experienced summer camp woodworking instructor who has taught for nearly twenty summers for Newton Public Schools. Currently, he is helping with a timber framed shed at the Leland St. Garden in Jamaica Plain.
